Cannot init d3d OR grf file has problem
This error occurs due to graphical problems. Be sure that your graphic drivers are up to date. If you can view your resolution settings in Setup.exe, it means it's fine. If your Graphic cards are updated, and you're still getting the error, check your DirectX. Make sure it's updated as well. You can get DirectX by clicking HERE It's also possible that your installation is corrupted. So if you're still getting this error after updating graphic drivers and DirectX, try reinstalling your clients.

Cannot find the adress of AIL_quick_load_and_play()
If you get this error, it means you haven't installed your Server patch in the same directory as your kRO and Sakray clients.

binkw32.dll not found
"Binkw32.dll is component for the BINK video codec and is used to play compressed movies within application such as games." (Bink Video Player DLL) This can happen when your clients are corrupted/modified. You can download binkw32.dll HERE Make sure it's in the same directory as your RO files.

Audio system init failed
This message means that you need to update your sound drivers, possibly also your direct X drivers. Corruption in your clients may also be possible. It's similar to "Cannot init d3d OR grf file" just sound drivers instead of graphics.

Unable to find juperos_01.rsw (map_name.rsw)
Any files ending with .rsw means you're missing the map file. Update kRO/Sakray clients to fix this. You can get your character out of that missing map by going into your user control panel. Go to Problems > Reset Position.

Failed to connect to server/Unable to connect to server
1: You might be using the server's older patches. Be sure to update to newest ones! Check the Announcements page for newer versions.. 2: Server might be down in maintence or similar reasons. You can check server status by going to HiddenRO Homepage, or maybe something would be announced on forums.

If none of these appear to be your problem, please check your internet connection. The connection to the server can sometimes time out if your internet connection is too slow.

Sprite Errors (.spr)

ALWAYS UPDATE YOUR KRO AND SAKRAY CLIENTS!
When you recieve sprite errors, it means the sprite for the item is missing. This usually occurs most often when your Sakray is outdated, although we strongly recommend you to update both kRO and Sakray.

To patch kRO and Sakray, simply click the "Ragnarok" and "Sakray" icons in your RO folder, as shown in the image below

Be sure you run ROLoader before running game after installation as well.

Patching Errors
If you are experiencing problems while patching using the server's patcher, please download and run the Patcher Fix. It should fix your problem.

How do I patch the clients?
1. Access your Ragnarok Folder (the folder where your Ragnarok Online game is installed in)
2. Click on the icons Ragnarok.exe (KRO) and Sakray.exe to patch them.
3. You'll know the patching is finished when a "????? ?? ?????" message appears. click to enlarge!

I'm getting errors, what should I do?
It depends on what kind of errors you are getting. Have a look at the Errors section

I forgot my password, email or account. How could I retrieve them?
You may open a support ticket via our Support system, or contact one of our GM's in game or via IRC and they will forward the message to Heartless. Please provide the information below:
